Starting as low as $480, I offer three packages with pre-configured features.

All of the sites also include domain name registration or transfer, POP or web based email, customized main navigation and a customized "Contact" form.

Please note:

1) The Basic and Basic Plus Plans are for "static" web pages which means they do not change or update automatically. They must be manually maintained. If you plan on selling merchandise where pricing and inventory change, or are a real estate agent with a changing database of properties, contact me for a free consultation to discuss your specific needs.

2)The Pro Sell Plan does not include the payment of 3rd party processing fees (credit cards, etc.) or setup fees or any fees associated with merchant account / 3rd party payment processors - this can usually be obtained through your own business banker at a less costly rate than online bankcard processing services.

I offer four hosting plans which will meet the needs of almost any website. For most users the Standard package will provide more than enough power for most website designs.

All hosting plans include a dedicated IP address, site statistics, web-based email, SSL, CGI-BIN, My-SQL, PHP 4.0, FTP access, anonymous FTP, Telnet vis SSH, Java servlets, auto responders, direct OnNet connection, Flash / Shockwave / QuickTime support, password protection, raw error logs, Server Side Includes, and Free Scripts.

MANAGEMENT SERVICES

Once your website is up and running, occasionally it will need to be updated with new information or even additional pages.

With the proper software you could do it yourself, or you could have me update the site -- potentially saving you time and money.

I offer the following plans:

Monthly Maintenance Contract - $35.00 per month includes up to 2 hours of updates per month, charged in half hour increments, only for pre-existing pages. (Two month minimum contract required to qualify for this price.)

'As Needed' Maintenance - $30.00 per hour for pre-existing pages, chargeable in half hour increments.

New / Additional Pages - $85.00 per hour for creation and integration within your existing site. Average new page requires 1-2 hours of work, but I will provide a written quote for approval before proceeding.

GETTING STARTED

Creating a web presence on the Internet involves a variety of choices, but three things must work together for it to be seen by the world: a Domain Name, a Website, and a Hosting Server connected to the Internet.

I can help you with any or all of these. Let's explore each in a little more detail, and how I can help...

DOMAIN NAMES

In simple terms, a Domain Name is your virtual address on the World Wide Web. By itself it doesn't do much, but when associated with a Website and a Hosting Server, it can become a very powerful and useful tool.

The Domain Name is used by other Host Servers to locate your website and "serve" that information to the world.

In my case, "www.inventivevision.net" is my Domain Name, and as such is my "address" so that you can find me without having to remember a complex series of numbers.

I recommend that you have me register your name for you. I include the cost of registering the available Domain Name of your choice in all of my Design and Hosting plans. If you already have a Domain Name, I can also transfer it to my servers at no cost.

There is no charge to register or transfer your Domain Name if you also use my design and/or hosting services.

WHAT'S A WEBSITE?

Once you have a Domain Name, you now need a website. A website is made up of web pages. Technically, only one page is needed to function as a site, but in practicality, a site usually consists of many pages, in some cases even hundreds or thousands of pages.

A web page is simply a file that contains the information you want your customer to see. It is not only text, but also a set of special "tags" or computer coding that describe how the text should be formatted when a browser displays it on the screen.

The tags tell the browser to do things like change the font size or color, or arrange things in columns. The Web browser interprets these tags to decide how to format the text onto the screen. The tags can also tell a page to display items for sale or even to process a payment.

I specialize in creating websites which are concise and functional but still tastefully designed.

WHAT'S A HOSTING SERVER?

I use web servers which house web pages and are directly connected to the Internet. This is called a Hosting Server. A server is a combination of computer software and hardware that can respond to a request for a website, and deliver its individual pages through the Internet. When someone types in your address (Domain Name) or finds your link on a search engine, the server delivers the page to the person's web browser.

Think of web servers as an apartment complex, each apartment houses someone's web page, or entire website, including yours. To keep your site in the complex, you need to pay rent on the space. I, in essence, am the landlord and called your host. Your rent is called your hosting charge.

Anyone can purchase the software and hardware to become a host, but just like purchasing property, it is sometimes more cost-effective to rent rather than buy.

I have made the initial investment of leasing reliable servers and distribute the cost among many other users, thus using economies of scale to save you money and time and keep the cost of running your website to a reasonable level.

My Hosting Services start at $25 per month.
